New Project: Catalyst

Catalyst, one of four high-rise projects Brininstool + Lynch is working on this year, began construction last week in Chicago at W. Washington Boulevard and N. Desplaines Street. It will have 223 residential units in 329,000 square feet, along with ground floor retail and 198 parking spaces. Lend Lease is building the project for the Hunt Companies and Marquette Development, and the project will be ready for occupancy the end of 2014.

New Project: One Triple Three

One Triple Three is one of three residential high-rise projects Brininstool + Lynch will have under construction this year. Located on South Wabash Avenue in Chicago, it is being built by Lend Lease for CMK Development. With 410,000 square feet, the 28-story project will have 307 residential units and will be ready for occupancy in the fall of 2014.

IIT Student Exhibition at NEW PROJECTS

Brininstool + Lynch, in collaboration with NEW PROJECTS, announces an exhibition of student work from Brad Lynch's design studio at the Illinois Institute of Technology last semester. The studio explored ideas for expanding The University of Chicago's Smart Museum of Art by investigating current approaches to the display, curation and storage of visual art. Claremont House Featured in Edition29

Featured on the cover of Issue 001 of Edition29 Housed, the Claremont House "stands out for its simple modern boxed elegance."

Edition29 is a group of electronic magazines created specifically for tablets. Issue 001 of Housed offers a "tribute to Modern American Homes and a showcase of the architect’s handiwork as seen through an extensive set of visual panoramas that can be experienced while listening to the commentary by each of the architects."

Lincoln Building Receives Sustainability Leadership Award from AIA

The LEED Platinum certified Lincoln Building has received a Sustainability Leadership Award from the American Institute of Architects - Chicago. This marks the 24th Design Excellence Award from the AIA Chicago for Brininstool + Lynch.

Enova Moves In

Enova, an innovator in online financial services, has moved into their new offices.

Enova asked Brininstool + Lynch to design new offices to house the company’s innovative technology department. Understanding that the growth of Chicago's new tech hub brings increased competition for the best programmers and designers, Enova needed a working environment that would attract and inspire young talent. According to Enova, “the design successfully weaves together function and aesthetics, exceeding our own expectations and leaving a strong and positive impression on employees and visitors.”
