Located on a prominent six-corner intersection on the north side of Chicago, this project is the site of the corporate headquarters of a large regional bank. Work completed by Brininstool + Lynch includes the exterior renovation of the existing five-story limestone structure, with 57,000 square feet of interior renovations. A new addition designed by the architects will include another 56,000 square feet of space.

The new building has been designed to have an identity of its own, while giving prominence to the original corner building, the exterior of which has been thoughtfully renovated to highlight its historic features. The top three floors of the existing building house modern executive offices that will identify in look and function with the interior of the new office building. Circulation areas are defined by wall, workstation and soffit configurations that disperse natural and indirect light to provide a well delineated yet inviting work environment.

Additional work includes the development of a parking area and a master plan for future building development.
