James Quick joins Brininstool + Lynch as a Designer after starting his career in New York. In the time he has been with the firm, he has worked on the design and detailing of the façade of 1400 W Randolph, in Chicago’s Fulton Market neighborhood. James is a graduate of Columbia University where he received the Alpha Rho Chi Bronze Medal. While in New York, he was a member of Andres Jaque Architects’ winning design team for the 2015 MoMA PS1 Young Architects Program. James was also a Resident of the New Museum’s incubator program NewINC, along with fellow editors of the publication : (pronounced colon). He is a current member of the Architecture Lobby and has also been a volunteer with Project Pipeline, an architecture and design summer camp run by the Illinois chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects.
