Matthew Messner is a designer with over a decade of experience working in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Copenhagen. He is the former Midwest Editor of the Architect’s Newspaper and was the Project Coordinator for the inaugural Chicago Architecture Biennial. His designs and writing have been published and featured in international galleries and publications. Messner holds a Master of Architecture and a Master of Art in Design Criticism from the University of Illinois Chicago. He currently is adjunct faculty at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and the Illinois Institute of Technology. Matthew is also a United States Army Veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom (’09) Afghanistan and is a Descendant of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin.
