Stephen Kesel brings a wide array of construction knowledge to Brininstool + Lynch, earned through his past design/build experience. Combining his unique background with a deep understanding of Building Informational Modeling, Stephen is able to deliver carefully coordinated, yet complex projects. Applying his expertise to 1926 W Harrison, Stephen helped navigate the extensive interior and exterior rehab of the 18-story multi-family structure. Stephen is a graduate of Auburn University where he participated in the school’s acclaimed Rural Studio program, designing and building the Greensboro Boys & Girls Club. After completion, Stephen worked for Marlon Blackwell Architects in Fayetteville before moving to Chicago in 2018, where he worked for a design-build firm prior to joining Brininstool + Lynch as an Architect in 2019. A member of the American Institute of Architects, Stephen volunteers in the organization’s Architects in Schools program and was a participant in the AIA Bridge program.
