A graduate of Kansas State University, Troy Carlson is an Associate Principal at Brininstool + Lynch. Troy has extensive experience with complex multi-family projects. These include 180 N Ada, Coney Island Avenue, Roosevelt Square Townhomes, and most recently 369 W Grand, a 41-story tower located in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. Along with working on every project stage, Carlson puts a strong emphasis on mentorship in the office, building healthy environment for young architects to succeed within practice. Before B+L, Troy worked as a project architect for the Chicago-office of CarllisonRTKL and Buchanan Architecture in Dallas, TX. A licensed architect in Illinois, Carlson is a LEED Accredited Professional, a member of the American Institute of Architects, and the Construction Specifications Institute.
